Virgin Megastores is an international entertainment retailing chain, founded in early 1976 by (Sir) Richard Branson as a record shop on London's Oxford Street.

Irfan Ali mentioned, "So at Virgin megastore they took my details and instantly signed me up without my consent and then said that if I download Circle app then there would be a free gift! This is too bad and very deceptive!!"

Sales Executive (Former Employee) says

"Decent Salary , 6000 average , bad management skills & bad communication between office staff and shops which leads to have misunderstanding with the customers. assigning the wrong person in the wrong place.good salaryab"

Vendeur stagiaire (Former Employee) says

Multimedia Salesman (Former Employee) says

"the place would be a nice work environment, but the problem is that no one does any of their tasks and at the end of the day the always point fingers to who didn't do theirs. if you attempt to do your tasks eventually you'll notice you have everyone else's tasks and you are the only person doing any work."

Stockiste (Former Employee) says

Tickets restaurant.Salaire bas."

Vendeur TV - Vidéo (Former Employee) says

"Cela fait 30 ans donc pas d’avis.Rien à signaler.."

Vendeur polyvalent (Former Employee) says

Sales assistant (Former Employee) says

"whilst working within this company as a sales assistant it was a nice experience to work within retail position."

Loss Prevention Officer (Former Employee) says

"Was a fun place to work staff were a joy to be around and customers on most part were friendly. Management were good and would support staff personally and professionally. Although each day was the same staff made it enjoyable.Had company not gone under would probably still be thereFun environment, staff were fun.Low pay, company no longer exists."

Sales Executive (Current Employee) says

"Everyone from the staff to the management are fun and make it fun to work with. it always feels like i'm with family when i'm at work. Virgin has its reputation for its exceptional customer service. i would never say my job is hard, it's adventurous as i always get to learn something new.sometimes we get free stuff to trytakes time to grow in the company"

Vendeuse Librairie (Former Employee) says

Tickets restaurant, Mutuelle"

Replenishment Clerk/Cashier (Former Employee) says

"I thought everyone there was out for them and they did not care much for one another. Since the store no longer exists. I would not recommend anyone to get a job there"

Cash Office Assistant (Former Employee) says

"I worked here as a seasonal worker for Christmas 2006 and the job itself was enjoyable but the management was poor. I did however develop my admin and cash handling skills I possess today."

Responsable Stocks (Former Employee) says

Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) says

"All north america stores have been closed. There may be one left in England, however it does not run under the same executive management as the american stores did.FunClosed"

Sales Representative (Former Employee) says

"virgin is more on new things and weird stuff. if your asking me virgin megastore is the best place for you if like some new things. they products that you cannot find in other shops. Not ApplicableLong hours"

Flyer Boy (Former Employee) says

"it was just being outside promoting flyers and its okay but its boring just having to stay in one area and do nothing really and i didnt really have co workers. this was not alot to do"

Responsable import musique (Former Employee) says

DARKNESSMANZ says

"Video games are very expensive for dhs 270 for a game when you can get it for dhs 150-180 from madinat zayed shopping center"

Suha Deen says

"Very poor customer service. Extremely irritating voice message when you call the store, presented as very cheap and vulgar music. It just reflects the lack of professionalism and no respect to the better taste of their customers."

Henry says

"usually over priced, often products discontinued without reason."

Misha Fernandes says

"Good products but very overpriced. Was looking for something to gift for Christmas, They a were selling a set of shot glasses for AED 119, when you can find the same thing in a Day to Day for way cheaper and same quality."
